29sep06-got my car back from the transmission shop, and they did a really shitty job with my tranny. i feel as though i must have lost a ton of horse power due to the changes in the gear ratio and the flywheel. more to come

13OCT06-Today I purchased a red top battery. its strong

19OCT06-Not sure what happened today but it just kinda died. I plugged in the charge box and it fired right up.I'm guessing i need a new alternator or differant pulley for my cerpentine belt. for some reason, its not keeping a charge.

01NOV06-I purchased a new clutch and flywheel today. It's a shitty one from ebay but it has to work for a while. it's the F1 racing stage 3 6-puck clutch and 7 lbs. chromoly flywheel.

18NOV06-i found out what was wrong with the alternator. The pigtail from the wiring harness was fried from my own stupidity a few weeks earlier. now i have to replace the alternator, belt, and that section of the harness

04DEC06-purchased a new boost guage since mine wasnt working. autometer $30

15DEC06-Purchased a gen III alternator from board member DarkB18c1 for $80. packaged great and looks good.

16JAN07-Received new rims. purchased from mikeforrealz for $650. WRD three piece rims. 16x7.5f, 17x9.5r (Falken Azenis615 on rear) received with one rear wheel slightly damaged. i'll try to fix that later.

19JAN07-Received my new custom trunk mount intercooler. bought from board member Satan'sRX7 for $1200

01FEB07-Received gen III wiring harness from chico race works in california. $575. Also, purchased all gen III sensors from Brian Macchia for $350 

03FEB07-Installed my new clutch, flywheel, and alternator assembly. PITA for sure! I'd rather pay someone to do it next time. I used the old pressure plate from ACT and the new Fidanza flywheel. but i used the 6-puck disc and new througout bearing i got from ebay. lets hope it lasts a while.

15FEB07-purchased new super red wingless trunklid with no holes. $150 shipped. still awaiting product. traded my AFM, intake filter, and turbo inlet hose for a mirror black powdercoated valve cover. also purchased a powdercoated mirror black intake manifold from Brian Macchia for $150.

18FEB07-while driving to my storage unit, the rear wheels locked up and sent me into a spin. no cosmetic damage, but im still trying to figure out what happened and why. read about it on the board. http://mr2oc.com/showthread.php?t=231411 also, sold Gen III IAT sensor to Phillipe Dahn for $22 shipped

24FEB07-purchased the hotpipe coupler for the stock intercooler setup. $25 from serge627

07MAR07- today i removed the gen II wiring harness and started installing the gen III wiring harness. Bryan (noshoes) Moore will be doing the repinning and checking my work on saturday.

09MAR07- Bryan cam to work on the car today. We got most of it done but there is still one more pigtail left to repin

14APR07- Today I sold my trunk mount intercooler to chsvsocr down in cary, NC. I drove down there and delivered the tmic as well as installed it for him. parts and labor $1000! when he posts his write up on it, i will include a link here

19APR07- Purchased ACT pressure plate and organic disc from Jimmy Deng for $150. the Pressure plate was prettu rusty and the disc was used. will be selling it shortly

05Jul07- Bryan Moore came to finish my wiring and we finally started my car!!! I love it

08Jul07- It has been a while since I've updated on work or any other progress. since 29May, I have done my turbo swap from the stock ct20b to my Blitz K27 which I purchased for $2200, installed the berk IC $520, installed the valve cover and intake manifold. Just need to get some bolts for my downpipe and I will have one mean sounding deuce.
